Letter of Understanding

The following is an agreement between us: you the bride, your groom, and me, Ema
Drouillard.  Please review this agreement and let me know if you have questions.  Send
me an email to verify that you have received the first draft of your wedding ceremony
and have reviewed this agreement.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

When you correspond with me, please include the name of the Groom and Bride, along
with your wedding date.

Wedding Ceremony - First Draft: Attached is the first draft of your ceremony.  Please
to review it and make any changes you may like. Your fee includes one rewrite.  Please
do not change the format of the ceremony.  As most ceremonies are heard, it is most
helpful to read it out loud to each other.  Do not send out copies of this ceremony, if
people ask you for a copy, have them contact me directly.  Note:  Only personalized
ceremonies are attached.  Civil ceremonies are not mailed out.

Changes Due:  Mark yours changes and returned them to me via email as soon as
possible.  I look forward to your input.  If for any reason your final changes are not
made correctly a refund of thirty dollars will be made.

Deposit:  THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Balance Due:  The balance is due within four weeks after you receive the first draft of
your wedding ceremony, or within two weeks of your ceremony, whichever comes
first, if you are planning last minute.

Time is of the Essence:  If your ceremony begins more than thirty minutes late, it may
have to be re booked which will require additional fees.

Last Minute Changes: All changes must be completed in advance.  I can not make last
minutes changes on the day of your ceremony or during the week before your
ceremony.

Marriage License Information:  You and your groom will need to file for your marriage
license together at the county clerk’s office.  After your wedding ceremony is
completed, I will sign the marriage license and mail it to the county clerk.  Once I mail
your marriage license my responsibility ends.  Questions regarding your marriage
license should be made directly to the county clerk where you filed for your marriage
license.  Please refer to the information on my website so that you will have everything
you may need.  ceremonyway.com/marriagelicense

Cancellation policy:  Your deposit and final payment confirms your wedding date and
time, as well as the wedding plans that have been arranged on your behalf.  While your
dates and times are being held, other couples are turned away.  If for any reason you
cancel your plans in writing, a partial refund may be returned if and when your date(s)
and time(s) are re booked by another couple.  No refund will be made with less than a
30-day written cancellation notice.  There may be additional fees charged to cancel
vendors and wedding planning.

Force Majeure:  If this agreement becomes impossible to complete due to acts of God,
war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, floods, curtailment of
transportation or facilities, or other emergencies making it illegal or unreasonably
difficult to provide service or to hold the event, then Ema Drouillard  shall not be held
responsible to any aspects of this contract.

If weather or road conditions prevent me from reaching the event location the day and
time of your wedding I will ordain someone on site over the phone and provide last
minute phone coaching to conduct your ceremony.  Please make sure to print out a
copy of your ceremony and have it with you the day of your wedding.
