Here is an Outline
· Getting the word out. The time to market and let people
know I’m here to be of assistance, is an enormous
undertaking of time and energy. The Internet is ever
changing; the marketing is almost a daily event.
· The efforts to keep the website up to date and adding
information to make things clear, is also never ending.
· The website provides couples with loads of fee advice and
information that assist before the wedding and after. This is a
service.
· Then there is the time to answer email's and questions and
to speak with you about your questions and concerns.
· When a couple books they’re wedding, there is internal
work to be done to make sure the dates and time are recorded
correctly, your deposit accounted for, contract accepted and
your personal details noted. As well as email set up and
calendaring.
· Once the booking is completed there are more email's to
respond to, a 3 way call, individual calls, email's along the
way to make sure you have the details and information you
need to feel at ease on your wedding day.
· On the day of your wedding…I will spend the morning
getting ready for your wedding, taking in to account what
may be the right attire for you individual wedding, traveling
to your wedding, parking and the expenses involved with
travel.
· At your wedding I’m focused on you and your wedding. I
will arrive with a beautiful ceremony that has taken years to
refine…that will speak to you hearts.
· I will talk with you before your ceremony to make sure
you have everything in place to begin. I connect with you in a
supportive role for your ceremony.
· I will orchestrate your wedding ceremony with ease and
grace and make sure your marriage license is signed and
ready for mail.
· And I will be there to follow up with you.
As an independent officiant the couples I marry are my
parish. If they don’t pay for my time I’m not able to offer the
service. It all comes down to time and money. There are
hours of work…that you don’t see that go into your wedding
ceremony.
If you have ordered a wedding package…then just keep
multiplying the hours of time spent putting your wedding
details together that you don’t see.
For the flowers
I drive to the market, sometimes one then one location to get
your flowers. I find the best selection available per your
request and take care of the flowers to make sure they are
fresh when delivered. On the day I get the flowers I remove
all the greens and put them in vitamin water. On the morning
of your wedding I arrange them with much care to shape and
color. Then I will warp them in ribbon and put them in water
and bring them to you in the car or in a cooler on your
wedding day, along with a flower for your groom.
The photography takes hours of editing, posting, proofing
orders, creating photo books and so on.
The Wedding locations have taken years to develop as well.
There are many things unseen that are being done for you.
“It’s just a 15-20 minute ceremony.”
