What does it mean to be Green?
As a Bay Area Green Business, business owners are asked to
consider…the four R’s, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle,
Rethink.
Through an in depth interview with The Bay Area Business
Program, ever detail of running the business is reviewed to
determine where the four R’s can be applied. The interview
process is complete once the four R’s are addressed on all
aspects of the internal operations of the business. Having
completed this process Ceremony Way.com is officially a
Green Business.
Being Green and thinking Green is second nature. The
internal business operations reduce waste in many ways…one
way this is done is by only promoting online rather then in print.
On a daily basis everything that can be recycled is.
Rethinking…offering Green Wedding Packages…wedding packages that provide a
way for a Bride & Groom to become a Husband & Wife without leaving a footprint.
- Using Locations that require no decorations or set up.
- The wedding celebration is held at a restaurant rather then having the event catered
where everything has to be brought to the location.
- The flowers are provided by sustainable agriculture sources.
- The photography proofs are provided via an online gallery for sharing with family
and friends.
- The photographer shoots with rechargeable batteries.
Over all “A Green Eco Wedding” offers intimate memories to treasure for a lifetime without
leaving behind a footprint.
