Here Comes the Sun & Wind

Number one plan for wind, not just wind but gusts of wind.  Many
outdoor wedding locations provide windy conditions, beach side being
the strongest winds and gusts.

Select Your Time of Day

The best way to avoid the winds is to have an early day wedding.  The
most ideal time for an outdoor wedding is early in the day.  10 to 11 am.
After that the winds picks up ever hour.

In the foggy months the best time of day in near 1 pm.  This allows time
for the fog to roll back.

Evening wedding offer the strongest winds and sunset weddings only
give you about 15 minutes of light to shoot wedding photography in
sweet light and then the full flash is used. If you have selected the
outdoors for the beauty you may want to see it.

Decorations at an Outdoor Wedding

One of the bonuses of an outdoor wedding is the natural beauty around
you, lessening your need to decorate. Hopefully you have selected a
site that provides all the beauty you need.  The decorations are of
course the bride and groom.

Sound at Outdoor Wedding

When your wedding is at a public park. Consider the roar of the waves
on the beach, the rushing wind bay side, the local kids running and
screaming around you and the tourist taking photos of you.  This is all a
part of an outdoor wedding.
